Positive Things to Say to your Child
FREE ~ Make a difference in your child's life one word at a time, one phrase. Using a Montessori approach, we can encourage without giving empty praise, but with words that help to heal. Often a child hears, NO, NO and then some more No, a Yes in a world of No's can also mean the difference for a child.
I see how hard you are working on that, gives the child the reassurance that yes, you do see that they are working or creating effort on whatever they are doing. A little Amazing is great too, A little praise, can go a long way.
Why we do not say a great job, good work, all the time, it creates extrinsic motivators but being aware of a child's effort by just being near them, creating and bending down to their level to speak a word of encouragement or connection can shape a very healthy child and the healthy parent-child relationship.
**Free print, with small words of encouragement for the parent. Print, and laminate to have up in a course room, or print to put on your wall, or in a portfolio to remind yourself to stop and encourage. These are also great reminders for guides and teachers as well.
